Evening for Conservation - June 15 @ 5:00PM
Join us for the first DSC Mid Atlantic chapter Evening for Conservation at The Winery at Sunshine Ridge - Gainesville, VA. The event will include door prizes, an online auction, and an opportunity to sample the wines and beers.
Auction will include:
- South African Safaris
- Namibian Safaris
- Argentinian Hunt
- International Sightseeing Tours
- 2024 DSC Firearm
Agenda:
- Registration - 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- In Room Silent Auction - 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM
- Online Virtual Timed Auction - 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Raffles: 9:00 PM

The event will be free of charge and is open to members and non-members so bring your family and friends. Guests must be 16 years or older per winery policy. Food will be available for purchase.

Big Bore Competition & Fine Rifle Exhibition/Rifle - August 17 @ 1:00PM
Experience the thrill of a "big bore" shooting event. Join fellow enthusiasts for a day of competition on a private ranch in Keswick - Central Virginia.
Three Competition Classes:
- 375 at 100 yards with optics (bench)
- 400 and above at 50 yards with optics (bench)
- 400 and above at 25 yards with iron sights (sticks)
Additionally, there will be a selection of very fine rifles for sale that include the following makers:
- Rigby
- Griffin & Howe
- Westley Richards
- Parker
The event will include:
- Door Prizes
- Wild Boar BBQ
The cost is $20 pp and non-members are encouraged to come and participate. Prizes will be awarded to the top shooters in each category. This event will be limited to 15 competitors and will be first come first serve basis. Please contact rwohlert@dscmidatlantic.org to sign up.
